In 2022, Israel Story, the most-listened-to Jewish podcast in the world, inaugurated a state-of-the-art recording studio. Located in the depths of The Jerusalem Foundation, Nomi Studios is the most professional and advanced podcast studio in Israel. Outfitted with the highest quality recording equipment, the studio is a warm, and truly magical space.

In addition to serving Israel Story, it is also available to other organizations, media outlets and – at a heavily subsidized price – to local non-profits.

Nomi Studios is named after Mishy’s beloved dog, Nomi, who passed away in the summer of 2022. She was his companion for nearly 13 years, and was asleep on his lap when he heard his first episode of This American Life – the moment which ignited this entire storytelling journey.

The people and stories recorded at Nomi Studios reach listeners in over 190 countries around the world. They are funny, dramatic and heartfelt. But above all, they exemplify Israel Story’s two fundamental truths: that a person is a person is a person, no matter what; and that we all grow and learn from listening to each other.
